Minister Curtis Young was born hearing in Detroit, Michigan and
gradually began to lose his hearing at the age of 8.
When he was 9 years old, Minister Young accepted Jesus Christ
and was baptized. His
early education was from the Detroit Public Schools, where he
graduated. Minister
Young is employed with the City of Detroit.
His wife, Gloria, is deaf and they have three hearing
daughters.

at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY);
· Studied
at Oral Roberts University Distance Education (Tulsa, OK);
· Member
of Second Ebenezer Church (Detroit, MI), teaching Deaf Bible Study
weekly;
· Nationally
traveling evangelist ministering the Word to both Deaf and Hearing
congregations;
· Serves
as Spiritual Advisor for the National Christian Conference of the
Deaf.
